Last week we were thrilled to have the folks from Tasting Table come by and write about the food at Lakh Lakh, my weekly pop-up. To get a sense of what Lakh Lakh is all about, check out this story and the gorgeous food photos by Lizzie Munro that accompany it. The photo above is our version of lakh lakh, the popular rice dish from Bushehr in the Persian Gulf, made with tamarind, chiles, herbs, and fish.
Below is tonight’s menu. As usual, service is from 5:30-10 pm, and there are no reservations. If you have a question about seating, please call Porsena Extra Bar at 212 228 4923. Porsena Extra Bar is located at 21 East 7th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues. We look forward to seeing you.
